2019’s Annual Report is inspired by the Gallery's slogan of “Let Art Surprise You“. The concept likens the report an Easter egg hunt, using surprising facts about the museum, its collections and exhibitions to punctuate the report and illustrate the realisation of its mission.

The report also features a die-cut and concertina-fold packaging, further reinforcing the Gallery’s mission to surprise and delight.

The 2019 Annual Report clinched a Silver at the 2019 IDA Design Awards for Print/Annual Reports.

2020’s Annual Report revolves around the concept of “Let Art Enrich You”, which introduces one of art’s key propositions – that there is more than meets the eye. Art has many faces and many interpretations, and this is accentuated through the classic crossword, where one letter is the springboard for an assortment of words of diverse meanings.

The crossword graphics permeate the look and feel of the report, with the cover featuring a die-cut “puzzle” and Khoo Sui Hoe’s Children of the Sun, which was part of the Gallery’s recent exhibition.
