Yolande Leong is a brand/graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Melbourne (formerly Singapore) with a passion for music, art and culture. She holds a BA (Hons) Design Communication from Goldsmiths, University of London (via LASALLE College of the Arts).
Yolande has worked across various disciplines of brand identity, print and layout design, illustration and interactive design for clients of various sectors. She is flexible for her style, knowing when to be bold and striking and when to keep it simple and clean.
By night, she is an illustrator, interested in creating work inspired by emotion, music, fashion and popular culture. In both pairs of creative shoes, she is interested in the means of communication through form and identity, and seeks to unpack and explore the relationship between visual and textual cues.
In her spare time, Yolande enjoys checking out art exhibitions, music performances and films, and savouring a damn fine cup of coffee.
